ACIC Accreditation
We're an ACIC (Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission) accredited body. This means:
- We're authorised to submit police check applications on behalf of organisations and receive results directly from the national database.
- We meet strict standards for security, privacy, data handling, and operational procedures. ACIC audits accredited bodies regularly to ensure compliance.
- We use correct terminology and processes in line with the Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check scheme.
- We're required to display our legal entity: Employment Screening Group is operated by Cloak Investigations Pty Ltd, an ACIC Accredited Body.
ACIC accreditation isn't optional for Australian police checks. Any provider processing police checks must be accredited. But not all accredited providers deliver the same level of service.
